North along the river road
Out US 75 to the north: reserve an airport ride from Blair, NE, Fort Calhoun or Kennard
From homes north of Omaha, Nebraska, the road to Eppley Airfield runs south along the Missouri bottoms, and this page covers rides to and from Fort Calhoun, Blair and Kennard. You can reserve an airport ride from Blair, NE with one request, out alone or out and back. Awakened Travel Company passes each request from these towns to one local car company. That company writes back with its own price for each ride and, after your yes, a confirmation naming the pickup time and meeting point.
Blair and Fort Calhoun: figures start at Fort Calhoun
from $105 per car, each way · sedan, up to 3 riders
from $135 per car, each way · SUV, up to 6 riders
Blair: sedan from $125, SUV from $160, per car, each way
A from-figure is the starting price per car, each way. The car company's written price is the fixed rate that counts, and it may add, each on its own line: a gratuity if one is not included, waiting past the time it names, an extra stop, and an airport charge for the pickup or drop-off if the company passes one on.
Awakened Travel Company is an independent reservation office in North Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. One local car company holding its own Nebraska certificate drives each ride, collects the payment and pays the office a set amount for every booking it accepts.

Pickups at farm lanes and town doorsteps
Out here a pickup address can mean a house on a Blair side street, an apartment door off a shared lot, or a gravel lane a quarter mile long past Kennard. The driver only knows what the request says, so put the useful details in the notes box.
A rider who uses a wheelchair or another mobility aid, or who comes along with a service animal, can say so in that same request. The car company then answers in writing with the car it plans to send to the door.
- the building and entrance letter when an apartment has more than one door
- where a long lane leaves the county road, and what marks the turn
- any gate code, or whether someone opens the gate
- how many child seats and which kind: rear-facing, forward-facing or booster
Down US 75 and into the airfield
Fort Calhoun sits about 15.9 road miles from the terminal, roughly 21 minutes on clear roads, by US 75, McKinley Street, John J Pershing Drive and Abbott Drive. Blair uses the same roads for 24.9 miles, about 32 minutes. Kennard goes another way: County Road P30, Nebraska Highway 133, Interstate 680, then Pershing and Abbott, 27.2 miles in about 34 minutes.
One detour matters here. Pershing Drive is closed between Dick Collins Road and Craig Avenue through October 2027, so cars from these towns take the 30th Street detour, and the minute counts above already include it.
Heading north again once your gate empties
As of October 2026 the terminal is split into a North half and a South half with no walkway between them inside, so check whether your boarding pass shows an A gate or a B gate. The car company names the meeting point for your car in its written confirmation; go there, not to the curb you remember from past years.
The drive home takes about as long on clear roads: about 20 minutes to Fort Calhoun, 31 to Blair and 33 to Kennard. If the landing runs late, call the car company number printed on its confirmation.
Fort Calhoun, at 15.9 road miles, starts at $105 per car, each way, in a sedan. Blair, 24.9 miles out, starts at $125 per car, each way, for the same sedan.
